The Right Award For Mario Jose MolinaMario Jose Molina, an Argentinian physician, has been given the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. He is being awarded for his discovery of the blood group antigens. These group antigens are responsible for determining whether a person will develop antibodies against the blood group antigens or a blood cell that does not produce any antibodies at all.Blood type antigens are a group of millions of amino acids. The antibodies produced by a person with a blood group antigen match with the antibodies produced by a person with a different blood group antigen. This is known as the blood-group system.The Nobel Prize in Chemistry was given to Dr Mario Molina and Antonio Russo for discovering the blood group system. Dr. Mario Molina said that, 'This discovery makes possible, in the laboratory, the identification of patients who have diseases that are life-threatening because of the inappropriate blood antigens.'Dr. Molina was also awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiol ogy or Medicine for his studies on the immune system. There is still debate about what actually was discovered, but it seems likely that Dr. Mario Molina had to redo a good portion of his laboratory work in order to prove that his research was correct. This came after Dr Mario Molina was advising to retract an earlier publication and re-publish his results.Some of the major problems that had to be overcome to prove that Dr. Mario Molina's blood group system was correct was proving that blood antigens alone cause antibodies to be produced, the use of recombinant DNA, and that he could achieve accurate antibody formation using his in vitro culture system. There were several different methods that were used to determine which blood group antigens caused the antibodies to be produced. Dr. Mario Molina did not have a way to use the results of these experiments to predict which antibodies would be produced.The Nobel Prize in Chemistry was also given to Dr. Mario Molina and Antonio Russo f or their discoveries in the field of recombinant DNA. They discovered how to use this technology to create identical proteins from different fragments of DNA. This technology allowed researchers to genetically modify the DNA of living organisms.Dr. Mario Molina and Antonio Russo, along with their teams, discovered how to fix some genetic errors, allowing scientists to customize certain genes. This technology allowed them to create genetically modified organisms in their laboratories. Using their methods, they were able to modify the DNA of live cells and even experiment on them.Dr. Mario Molina said that his next goal is to study the possibility of modifying the human genome, or changing the DNA sequence of the human organism. This will involve inserting a genetic manipulation into a particular section of the genome and the chances of this becoming possible will depend upon the successful completion of further genome modifications by other researchers.

Most people approach goal-setting (which is really what a New Years Resolution really is) so poorly that they are destined to fail.   Let’s look at ways you can succeed with goals:   Don’t just take a 5 Reasons Career Goals for the New Year Fail and What To Do Instead Oal because you think you “should”.  If you aren’t 110% excited or driven to do something â€" you won’t.  Consider giving yourself permission to skip your whole list of “should”.  Now, doesn’t that feel better?  Seriously, if you aren’t emotionally attached to an outcome, you will not stay the course.  Why derail before you start? It’s easy to lose focus when what you’re focusing on is fuzzy to begin with.  A way to know if your goal is specific enough is to ask yourself the following questions: What will be different? How will I know? Can I measure the result? Or observe the result? When do I need to see a result? What’s your #1 BIG thing?  Said another way, if you take on too many goals you will bog yourself down with overwhelm.  It’s better for you to identify 1 or 2 career goals for next year that will get your time and attention.  The opposite of the goal Grinch is the over achiever that thinks they need to take on the world with pages of goals and barely hit a thing. Your perspective is everything.
